Low Carbon Energy - How?

Ambitions of cutting CO2 emissions and new green regulatory requirements have accelerated innovation in technology putting in parallel extensive pressure on the oil & gas industry. What role do we as petroleum engineers have in delivering low carbon energy to the world? With fossil fuel greenhouse gases continuously rising, most would argue that turning this trend around is necessary but demanding task. The UN believes Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) represents a viable solution to mitigate carbon emissions in the future.
